These are terrific long, wide mouth straws for smoothies and other thick drinks. They're very easy to wash and all the dried fruit fiber comes off easily in the dishwasher. I use Kleen Kanteen large bottles to hold the smoothie and the straw is tall enough to use with these these bottles. I've bought flexible straws in the past that get gunked up inside from food particles and never come clean. These stainless straws get totally sanitized in the dishwasher and look brand new even after several months of daily use. These were a good investment.
