Nice size for smoothies. They are a bit weighty though. If you want one for more liquid beverages I would also get the smaller width ones STAINLESS STEEL STRAWS 10" Thin/Normal Width XXLong Since they are stainless steel they may have a bit of a metalic taste at first but just as you do with stainless steel water bottles rinse with a bit of vinegar and that problem will be solved.
