This innovative collection, composed of firefend, firefend Kids and the firefend semi-sheer batiste panel, combines décor and safety for your family and home. Each panel self-extinguishes and every production lot is independently tested and certified to meet strict commercial flame retardant codes (NFPA-701-1999, NFPA-701-2004, NFPA-701-2010, BFD-1X1). The firefend drape, offered in 6 solid colors, and firefend Kids, offered in 9 solid colors and 3 prints, boasts Energy-Saving properties. The Ignite-Not thermal coating helps reduce utility bills by blocking out cold in the winter and heat in the summer, reducing window-related energy loss. The Ignite-Not coating also Blocks Outside Light and Noise for a better night's rest. All units are dyed using a special printing process that uses no water and saves up to 25 gallons for every 84-inch panel in addition to offering perfect color matching from panel to panel. Firefend is Machine Washable and is completely manufactured in the USA. Firefend drapes and firefend Kids are offered as a Back-Tab in 15 solid colors and 3 coordinated prints in 7 sizes from 50 by 36 to 50 by 95 and a 50 by 15 valance. The firefend Kids prints are also offered as a stylish double-layered valance. The firefend semi-sheer batiste panel is offered as a Rod-Pocket and is available in Cream and White and the beautiful Lannigan print in 6 colors.
